This is rock art but not petroglyphs or pictographs. These are sculpted, carved or modified, in the photographer's opinion, anciently by man. The author does not know what culture made these, but feels that they have some meaning. Perhaps just a memorial. These often take the form of animals. In the photographer's opinion these are not caused by natural erosion but modified by man. They are beautiful. Some can be very subtle but the ones I have started out with here are fairly obvious. I hope that the talent that made rock art formations is appreciated as well as the effort made to preserve them through photographs. Thank you
